


Oak cant open the GS Ball and asks Ash to take it on his way to the land. Ash beats Drake's Dragonite after it wipes out all Ash's Pokmon Except Pikachu. Ash and Goh have come across a number of Legendaries in the anime already (with Goh even managing to catch a few himself), so this is just going to be another major feather in the cap of this particular leg of Ash's journey. Ash battles Drake in the Orange League Championship.

Drake's diverse team of Pokmon really put Ash through his paces and made him think more strategically for each matchup, making for an equally epic and intense battle. This two-part arc will be airing over the weeks of July 23rd and July 30th in Japan, and will see Ash come face to face with Dawn once more as they are all wrapped in a new adventure surrounding the Legendary duo. Hands down, Ash's greatest battle during the entire Orange Islands saga of his journey was against the Orange League's 'Supreme Gym Leader,' Drake.
